Allison Olmsted has been training dogs since 2016. She began her journey running agility with border collies and interning under high level competitors from multiple countries, including Silas Boogk and Fabrice Basnier.

​

A teacher at heart, Allie quickly began running classes in behavior, obedience, and dock diving. When border collies didn’t provide enough power and intensity for her, Allie switched gears to Belgian Malinois. She formed a successful DVG IGP club in Houston--Space City Schutzhund Club, which quickly grew; when the club’s needs overtook her ability to reach her personal goals, Allie left the club in favor of private training.

She now runs a small private IGP group, gives private lessons, and offers board and trains. Over the years, she has successfully competed in agility, dock diving, IGP, Fast CATs, and dabbled in conformation, and she is an active CGC Evaluator and ATT judge. Her current competition dog is a Malinois, Siren, who actively competes in IGP. Siren's younger sister, Hydra, is in training with Allie pursuing IGP titles. Both dogs are out of Rebekah Harrington's kennel, Izac's Home, and both are progeny of Argo Oviri IPO2 and Drupy Clever Fox IGP1.

Allison is a current member of AWMA, DVG, AS, and holds a CGC Evaluators license.

Allie and Siren competed at AWDF 2025 and will be competing at AWDF 2026 and DVG 2026.
